Specific duties include:

• Represent our brands in the Southern California market to increase distribution
• Channel focus is 50% on-premise (small universe), 20% off-premise, 30% Distributor management
• Ensure proper and timely ordering of POS to increase visibility of our brands
• Work with supervisor to develop territory budget, create projections, and manage within parameters to ensure targeted profitability
• coordinate tastings and events in territory
• prepare and conduct monthly sales and marketing meetings with Wholesalers
• Maintain regular communications with wholesalers in all functional areas

Position Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Business; related field or equivalent work experience
• At least 5 years of territory sales management experience; ideally in the beverage industry
• Proven profitable sales record where targets are met or exceeded
• Familiarity with the brewing industry and beer distribution channels
• Strong business communication skills and high degree of professionalism
• Excellent presentation skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft office Suite; sales software and relational databases
• Must be able to travel and work flexible hours/days

Roles and Responsibilities

• Host consumer events and present during tastings and trainings
• Develop a database of consumers through networking and seeking out new targeted consumers via social media (Twitter)
• Help to source appropriate brand event opportunities via network of influencers
• Conduct site visits, train event staff/bartenders on the brand, and assist with basic event logistics
• Train on and off premise samplers on the brand
• Complete quantitative and qualitative reports on all activity
• Manage and reconcile a travel & expenses budget along with any event related expenses
